Description

American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Tech with 2+ years of experience and RCIS/RCES certification to join a high-volume EP lab team.

Details

9-room lab with 2 very active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA closures
High-level multidisciplinary team environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Floating required as needed, including to any Cone Health campus
Epic EMR experience required
1:1 patient ratio

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience required
BLS and ACLS certification required
RCIS and RCES certification required (License required if applicable)
Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage closure, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies required
Cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies experience preferred
Epic EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)

Additional Information

Responsibilities include equipment set up, EKG lead placement, access site prep, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and maintaining sterile field during procedures
Experience with 3D imaging, fluoroscopy (Philips, Siemens), ultrasound, and vascular closure systems preferred
Experience with central venous access, PICC line care, and Watchman procedures beneficial
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local rates apply
RTO must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
