Scheduler

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - on site two weeks per month) Employment Type: Contract or W2 Summary Join an established owner's rep firm supporting a large hyperscale data center program. You'll own schedule health on the client side, analyzing, preparing and reporting on schedule performance while working closely with the client team and general contractor to keep scheduling best practices front and center. Responsibilities Perform weekly QA/QC reviews of the GC schedule Set the reporting cadence, and review and approve detailed contractor and vendor schedules submitted for progress updates Review GC baseline schedule submissions to confirm all scope is captured and logically sequenced, and provide detailed written review comments Validate the accuracy and credibility of the Contractor's schedule analysis Follow all instructions, policies, schedule specifications and procedures tied to the role Recommend ways to improve schedule performance through analysis, workarounds, lessons learned, corrective actions and acceleration plans Lead and train construction managers and project controls specialists on reporting for their projects Support the Project Team in evaluating and monitoring the Contractor's progress schedule, and troubleshoot issues throughout construction Interpret schedule and cost reporting results and lead reviews with the client's Preconstruction, Construction, Scheduling and Project Controls teams Prepare Milestone Variance reports and provide recommendations to the CM and GC Conduct forensic analysis on schedule updates and share comments with the CM and GC Complete weekly schedule status updates Analyze schedule impacts from changes or claims, including time impact analysis, and review schedule-driven Change Orders and Time Impact/Claims submitted by vendors Perform Time Impact Analysis on change orders affecting the construction schedule and negotiate delay time settlements with the contractor Walk the site as needed to verify weekly/monthly schedule progress, and report findings to the client's project team and upper management Follow all onsite safety requirements set by the client and General Contractor Read drawings to determine whether work is in or out of scope, and apply contract terms to assess the merit of compensable or non-compensable time extensions Communicate clearly with the Contractor on all schedule matters in weekly status meetings and other schedule-related meetings Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering 3 to 5 years of data center or other mission-critical experience Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing and installation methods Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs to build, review and approve contractor schedules Experience reviewing time impact analyses and recovery schedules Comfortable in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment Results-oriented, with a focus on accurate, complete and timely delivery Strong organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills Able to manage multiple projects, set priorities based on business needs, and multitask in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Konstruct Staff
