Full-Time Prep / Catering / Line Cook

20/20 Bistro & Catering – Battle Creek, MI

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team! This position involves a combination of food preparation, catering production, and line cooking.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–3:00 PM
• Some weekends required for catering events
• Full-Time Position

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for daily Bistro operations and catering events.
• Assist with prepping ingredients, portioning, and assembling meals.
• Work the line during busy lunch service.
• Prepare large quantities of food for weddings, corporate events, and other catering functions.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Assist with stocking, inventory, and kitchen organization.
• Work efficiently with other team members to ensure timely food service.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous professional kitchen or cooking experience required.
• Catering and high-volume food preparation experience strongly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist wherever needed in the kitchen.
