We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Behavioral Health organization in Prescott Valley. This role is responsible for managing the full AP cycle, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting procurement and inventory processes.

Accounts Payable Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 26.44 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
• Manage vendor setup and maintenance, including creating vendor files
• Prepare and issue 1099s in compliance with regulations
• Support procurement and purchasing functions
• Track and manage inventory and assist with reporting
• Handle aged AP accounts/unclaimed property, ensuring proper resolution
• Reconcile discrepancies and collaborate with internal departments

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts payable processing (3-5 years)
• Knowledge of procurement/purchasing workflows
• Experience handling vendor management and 1099 reporting
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and aged AP/unclaimed property
• Experience with Sage accounting software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
