Job Title: Retail Engagement Specialist Job Type: Regular Work | Location: Market - AMRET - MD - Washington DC 139 Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Monday – Friday | Pay: $24 per hour plus 10% monthly bonus opportunity | Mileage reimbursement, paid travel time, weekly pay options, and full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k). Requirements Personal vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening. Clear, organized, and reliable. Comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment. Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer‑facing experience (6 months preferred). Responsibilities Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. Logistically plan visit schedules up to two weeks in advance and execute assigned activities at each location. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and feedback reporting. Represent the brand in the field, contributing to event launches when required. Performance Measurements Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals. Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals. Enter multiple store locations daily and weekly. Schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance. Demonstrate relationship building through merchant awareness and POP placement. Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Six months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced team environment. Reliable transportation within the assigned territory. Benefits No weekends. Weekly pay (DailyPay options available).
