Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Full Time Location: Miami, FL About Us: We are a leading U.S.-based, privately held, independent clinical research site company specializing in early and late-stage neuroscience drug development. Job Description: The NP/PA will provide primary care to patients on-site, working closely with Clinical Research Coordinators on tasks related to the conduct of clinical trials. This role also carries a Clinical Manager component, overseeing site staff and day-to-day site operations. Responsibilities: Monitor and operate medical equipment Perform physical exams and patient observations Administer medications and treatments and monitor patients Assist with documentation management Conduct protocol-related clinical assessments of research subjects Provide on-call coverage if applicable Detect changes in patient health and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain patient health records and develop care plans Administer diagnostic tests Mentor site staff and oversee performance evaluations, corrective action plans, and scheduling Develop and implement site policies and directives Manage staff recruitment and deliver staff training Supervise daily site activities Evaluate and implement study protocols Support profitable, compliant management of the clinical research business Ensure overall coordination and efficient implementation of clinical trials management, operations, and regulatory compliance Attend meetings and communicate with staff Operate in line with GCP, ICH guidelines, HIPAA, and internal SOPs (responsibilities may evolve with organizational needs) Skills and Qualifications: For an NP: MSN or DNP from an accredited program, current valid RN license, board certification For a PA: Completion of an accredited PA program, state-specific PA license, board certification For MD/DO: State-specific license, board certified 5+ years in a leadership role with on-site management responsibilities Strong knowledge across multiple operational functions, including quality assurance, finance, and employee management Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity Ability to streamline and implement new structures that support rapidly shifting business demands Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines Requirements: Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a track record leading multifunctional teams Experience with business plan development and budgeting Proven ability to develop innovative solutions to increase productivity Strong negotiation skills, internal and external Working knowledge of CNS-related clinical trials Want me to also generate a shorter, punchier version for LinkedIn/social posting, since this one's more suited to a job board?
