Residential Plumbing Estimator: Accurate Bids & Costing

Description Mechanical One is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, construction plans, and estimating practices, with the ability to prepare accurate and competitive bids for new construction and residential projects. Responsibilities Review residential plans, specifications, and project documents Perform plumbing takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs Coordinate with builders, vendors, and internal project teams Submit accurate and timely proposals and bid packages Maintain pricing databases and supplier relationships Assist with value engineering and cost‑saving recommendations Support project handoff to operations after contract award Requirements Experience in residential plumbing estimating preferred Knowledge of residential plumbing codes and construction methods Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Strong math, organizational, and communication skills Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Plumbing field experience is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Mechanical One
