Job Title
The role involves providing comprehensive assessment, counseling, and consultation services to clients with substance risk factors and/or disorders.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and providing counseling to clients.
- Interviewing individuals and family members as needed.
- Counseling clients on identifying early warning signs, abuse detection techniques, and preventative measures of substance abuse.
- Coordinating case management services to ensure follow-through with treatment recommendations.
- Assisting clients in setting goals and objectives for their treatment plans.
- Offering direct non-medical services using various techniques.
- Identifying and addressing crisis situations through clinical assessment, providing crisis intervention and safety planning.
