About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 15:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS and PALS required Must-Have: RN who can circulate as well as scrub and/or assist. Experience with central sterile knowledge is preferred. OR technicians able to scrub and assist. Description: This position is for an operating room nurse with experience in a surgical setting. The candidate will work in a unit with four operating rooms and a staff of 16. Patient ratios are 1:1. The nurse will be expected to handle general, orthopedic, neuro, and ENT procedures primarily. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively with a team and have a strong foundation in OR protocols. The dress code requires cornflower blue scrubs, hair cover, and proper personal protective equipment. Jewelry is not permitted, and nails must be clean and well-manicured. This role requires a proactive attitude and an ability to adapt to fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will have a positive demeanor and a commitment to patient safety and care excellence.
