Join Our Team as an Ultrasound Technologist!

Job Description:

- Position: Technologist
- Specialty: ARDMS ABD Required, GYN/RVT/OB a plus
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: 3PM - 11PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Call Requirements:
- 2 weeknights
- Help with some weekend call strongly appreciated
- Lodging provided for call nights

- Required Certifications: ARDMS ABD
- Years of Experience: 5+
- Float Requirements: None

Unit Information:

- Number of Beds: 97 Licensed Beds
- Equipment: Mindray Resona 7 and GE Fortis
- EHR: Meditech

- Supervisors:
- Glenda Berkey ARDMS ABD/OB/GYN/BREAST/RVT Lead Sonographer
- Roy T. Clowser III MHA RT(R)(MR)(ARRT) Director of Medical Imaging

- Patient Population: Mostly Geriatric and Adult, very limited peds workload

Hiring Profile:

- Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Experience as staff sonographer for general diagnostic ultrasound

- Preferred Skillset/Experience:
- Preferred HCA/LifePoint experience
- Preferred MindRay experience but not required

- Common Diagnosis/Treatment:
- Abdominal Imaging
- Biophysical Profiles for OB
- Thyroids

- Personality Fit:
- Easy-going
- Competent
- Comfortable in a community feel hospital with a tight-knit crew

- Required Education:
- Passing of accredited Sonography program with at least board certification through ARDMS with ABD

Dress Code:

- Scrub Color: Black or Gray
- Unacceptable Attire: No uniform pieces that advertise another health system or hospital
