Duties include discussing goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establishes a contract with the consumer. Interviewing consumers to team with mental health professionals in determining the needs of individuals or groups on a walk-in/telephone basis; respond to potential suicide or other emergency events. Visits clients, individually or as part of a team, in a variety of living situations, to help assess the mental health needs of individuals and families, observe progress, provide counseling, gather data, and report significant changes in the client's condition to designated professional staff.Division/Program Overview:Program: Centers provide outpatient mental health services to children and their families.Population Served: Working with children of all ages, at home, at school and in the communityFacility & Setting: Centers | at home, at school and in the communityClinical Services: Individual therapy, Group therapy, Family counseling, Medication management and supportSkills & Services: Case management, Rehabilitative/Skill building services
