This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an MEP or consulting engineering environment who wants diverse project exposure, significant technical responsibility, and the long-term benefits of joining a 100% employee-owned firm.

What You’ll Do

• Design complex electrical building systems across power distribution, lighting and controls, grounding, lightning protection, emergency power, and UPS systems.
• Lead project teams and deliver comprehensive electrical design packages.
• Perform load flow, short-circuit, and voltage-drop calculations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients throughout project delivery.
• Provide technical oversight, training, and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Support projects through construction and commissioning.
• Work with electrical teams across multiple offices to improve internal standards and technical quality.
• Deliver projects for federal, state and local agencies, universities, and commercial and industrial clients.

What We’re Looking For

• 6-10 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related accredited engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong building systems design experience.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting and controls, emergency power, grounding, and UPS systems.
• Knowledge of electrical system modeling and analysis.
• Prior MEP/consulting engineering experience preferred.
• Federal building design experience is highly desirable.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

What’s on Offer

• 100% employee-owned company through an ESOP.
• Hybrid working schedule, with a minimum of 2 days in office.
• Strong 401(k) match.
• Exceptional PTO.
• Multiple health insurance options.
• Tuition reimbursement.
• Parental leave.
• Exposure to technically complex federal and critical-facility projects.
• Opportunity to remain technically focused while taking on greater project ownership and mentoring responsibility.
• Ability to support your designs from concept to construction and commissioning.

For an Electrical Engineer who enjoys the technical side of design and wants to work on complex building systems while gaining greater ownership over projects, this is an opportunity to join a highly established engineering practice where employees have a direct stake in the firm's long-term success.
