Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Day 4x10-Hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00). Expect 2–3 weekends per 8-week schedule, either in-house or on-call. Call requirements include 7-8 calls in an 8-week schedule, with both weekend and weekday night call shifts.

Contract length is 8 weeks with an average daily census of 35 patients across 16 rooms.

Minimum of 1 year experience; 1st timers accepted.

Certification in BLS required.

Circulate and scrub experience required.

Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems; experience with Davinci XI Robots is a plus.

Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room.

Assist in the preparation and management of the surgical environment.

Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to facilitate safe and efficient operations.

Maintain knowledge of procedures and equipment used in the operating room.

Full compliance is required to start on time. There is a maximum RTO of 7 days, with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th). Non-billable orientation hours are based on contract length.
