In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in support of location protocols, helping to verify authorized entry and directing individuals according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by observing equipment areas, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
