Job Summary:
Nebraska-based healthcare organization seeks a qualified Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician specializing in echocardiography) for an acute care setting in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves performing cardiac ultrasound procedures, acquiring high-quality echocardiographic data, and supporting patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Omaha, Nebraska
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with call as needed, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Prior cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound experience in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience (will consider 2 years if at an academic teaching hospital)
  • At least 2 years of travel experience
  • Registered in cardiac ultrasound (ARDMS; RCS via CCI acceptable)
  • Must have a valid license to submit
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, and hospital information systems
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular principles including physics and blood flow hemodynamics
• Additional Information:
  • Non-billable orientation hours: 12 hours; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
  • Call-Off Policy: Client may call off up to 36 hours every 13 weeks with 2 weeks' notice
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • BSN: Not required
  • Trauma Level: 1
  • Care Setting: Acute division
