Job Description At Regions, the Relationship Banker II meets with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine their financial needs and to offer appropriate products, services, and guidance to help achieve financial goals. This role is suitable for candidates with retail or sales experience who are seeking a career with growth opportunities. Regions' mission is to make life better for customers and communities. Strong communication skills and the ability to identify customer needs are essential. Primary Responsibilities Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and presenting Regions’ solutions Conduct outbound phone calls using lead lists to expand existing relationships and acquire new customers Educate customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services, including loan and deposit options Educate customers on digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM) to make banking easier Provide a consistent, optimal customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions Own and resolve customer issues Refer customers to internal experts for complex financial goals Follow bank processes and regulations and participate in risk management as part of the branch team This position requires tracking time for hours over 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The position is incentive eligible. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Ability to work Saturdays as needed Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds Preferences Bachelor’s degree Life Insurance License One (1) year of cash-handling, banking, and/or customer service experience Skills and Competencies Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to oversee large sums of cash Excellent relationship-building skills Strong communication and customer focus Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job-specific and provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors affecting pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, location, and performance. Pay varies among associates within the same role. The target information below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area market range for the position location and level. Job Range Target: Minimum: $41,508.18 USD Median: $49,644.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan.
