City, State New Orleans, Louisiana Job Description Title: Food Runner Location New Orleans, LA FLSA Non-Exempt Status full-time Reports to Food & Beverage Manager Pay Range $14.00 Job Summary A Food Runner is responsible for transporting prepared food orders from the kitchen to customers in a timely and professional manner. They work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are complete, correctly prepared, and delivered efficiently. Food Runners also assist with maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and supporting overall restaurant operations to provide an excellent dining experience. Responsibilities Deliver food orders to tables promptly and accurately Verify dishes before serving to ensure quality and correctness Communicate with kitchen and waitstaff regarding orders and special requests Assist in clearing tables and maintaining dining area cleanliness Restock service stations, utensils, and condiments Support teamwork during busy service periods Requirements Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail and customer service skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Previous restaurant experience is helpful but often not required Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
