Your future role at a glance Location: Marion, IN Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic Department: Heart Care Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM-11:30 AM How you'll make an impact in this role Perform adult echocardiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician/PA orders, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging. Prepare and document preliminary echocardiography reports in the ProSolv system for physician review. Monitor and maintain adequate departmental supplies, communicating inventory needs to the designated office purchaser. Manage quarterly Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with established standards and support continuous quality improvement. Collaborate with echocardiography technologists and leadership to prepare for and maintain future accreditation requirements. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure /Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtainedwithin 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Cardiac-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or jobtransfer date. Registered Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic MedicalSonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular CredentialingInternational (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
