Key responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology include:

• Perform neuro, CT, and interventional radiology procedures
• Utilize GE/Siemens equipment efficiently
• Provide scrub and circulator support during procedures
• Conduct thrombectomy device procedures, including PE and stroke
• Assist with angio procedures, such as TIPS and angioplasty

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology include:

• Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology required
• MA License in Radiology required
• Registration RT ARRT required
• Certification in BLS and ARRT
• Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices preferred
