A willingness to learn and make a conscious choice to be positive daily is a must.Position Type: Part-time or PRNHiring Range: ($20.00 - $24.00/hr) plus evening/nights/weekend shift differentials, and an RMA shift differential ($1/hr)Shifts Available Part-Time: 3-11pm PRN: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11am, 11pm-7am, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7amPlease note: This is a combo position for a candidate with both CNA and RMA certification. When working as an RMA per the schedule, an RMA shift differential will apply on top of any evening, night, and/or weekend shift differentials.Earn a competitive hourly rate based on years of experience, plus applicable shift differentials.Additional compensation includes:Hourly employees: 1.5x Holiday Pay1.5x Overtime Pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per weekFull-time employees: Generous PTO beginning with a maximum of 104 hours annuallyBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, Supplemental: Accident/Cancer/Critical Illness, Legal Resources, and Identity TheftTuition reimbursement: up to $5,250 annually for qualifying courseworkAll employees: 401k with company matchEducational Partnership Discounts: South University, ECPI, Regent University, St. Leo University, and Colorado Christian UniversityReferral Bonus for new employee referrals that join our teamStar Employee Recognition Program including monetary awardsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Medication Aide ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications as prescribed and document accurately in the MAR.Observe and report changes in resident condition, medication effectiveness, adverse reactions, or refusals.Monitor vital signs and other health indicators as required for medication administration.Maintain medication carts and storage areas in compliance with facility policies and state regulations.Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, families, and pharmacy providers.Assist with medication inventory, counts, and refill coordination.Ensure compliance with all medication safety, infection control, and resident care standards.QualificationsCurrent Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification required.Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.Strong documentation, communication, and resident care skills.About Atlantic ShoresOur vision at Atlantic Shores is "To be a neighborhood where people want live and work."
