Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum one year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred License: Requires current state's Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required Must-Have: Excellent customer service skills Critical thinking skills Effective communication skills Strong organizational skills Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the needs of patients. They develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role involves utilizing nursing theory and practice at a professional level. Candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care and safety. Flexibility to adapt to changing medical conditions and patient needs is essential. The nurse will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes. Continuing education and professional development are encouraged in this role.
