Responsibilities
- Create and maintain patient profiles in pharmacy information system
- Enter prescription information and insurance plan details for processing
- Address insurance reimbursement and payment issues with providers and patients
- Retrieve, prepare, and organize medications for pharmacist verification
- Manage inventory tracking, reporting, and stock placement
Requirements
- Minimum two years directly related ambulatory pharmacy experience
- National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree program preferred
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and drug interactions
- Ability to work accurately under time and volume constraints
Compensation: $43,400 - $67,980
