Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel HIGHLIGHTS: Nights, 3x12's 24 months of Labor Delivery / LD experience [required] EPIC experience [required] NRP certificate [required] [document] Intermediate - EFM / electronic fetal monitoring certificate [required][document] Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (LD/Labor and Delivery) [required] Nurse s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required] [document] AHA/American Heart Association advance cardiac life support/ACLS [required] AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS [required] Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred] ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Unit Information: Labor Delivery: Beds: 3 LDRP, 4 Postpartum 1:1 ratio, active labor 1:3-4 ratio, couplets Titration of pitocin Deliveries/month: 19-31 deliveries Annual average: 300 Types of patients: labor, delivery, post partum, antepartum, newborn nursery Med Surg Unit: Bed size: 23 P ratio: 1:5 Patient Types: bariatric surgery, ortho, general med surg Drips: heparin MORE INFORMATION: Quickly interviewing viable candidates: Phone call/text from a 405 area code Local Radius rule: No locals All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on drivers license) Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months.
