Product Manager

Job Overview Lead the U.S. Monitoring team for Johnson Controls’ CMC life‑safety services, ensuring uptime and high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage L2/L3 support team for U.S. Monitoring services. Maintain & maximize uptime (>99.999%) for all life‑safety environments. Create and execute internal improvements to achieve high customer satisfaction. Oversee rapid‑response on‑call services and ensure system availability. Provide Level 2/3 technical support for North American monitoring services. Manage software updates, enhancements (patches/upgrades) and application support. Lead builds and expansion of CMC hardware/equipment. Ensure clear communication for trouble resolution and documentation of product builds/changes. Partner with business on future needs, strategy, planning, and new product introductions. Document and facilitate solution enhancement requests in liaison with suppliers. Apply best practices to maintain CMC life‑safety services at subject‑matter‑expert level. Oversee development and execution of strategic plans as a team leader. Qualifications U.S. citizenship. 5‑7 years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining complex signal processing environments. Strong management experience leading technical teams. Deep knowledge of MasterMind Monitoring or other industry‑specific monitoring systems. Demonstrable expertise with MS‑SQL Server and T‑SQL. Solid understanding of IT systems (network, hosting, storage, scripting) and cybersecurity tools (EDR, SIEMs, firewalls, anti‑virus). Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Superior problem assessment & troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and presentation skills for vendors, team members, and non‑technical audiences. Team player with service‑oriented mindset and commitment to quality. Weekly on‑call availability. Four‑year degree or equivalent experience. Certifications beneficial: CCNA, MCSE, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, SSMS). Compensation & Benefits Hiring salary range: $100,000‑$120,000, commensurate with experience and market data.
