Location: Avera St Luke's Hospital Worker Type: Regular Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States) Pay Range: $24.00 – $48.00 (actual pay dependent on experience) Position Highlights Student Loan Repayment Program – up to $10,000, with an extra monthly payment of $167. Sign‑On Bonus for RN: up to $20,000 for 3+ years of experience; up to $15,000 for New Grads; $7,500 for LPNs. Schedule 7:00 am – 7:30 pm, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am; 72 hr/2 weeks. Pay Scale RN: $33.50 – $48.00 LPN: $24.00 – $33.25 Brief Overview Deliver nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, defining interventions, and providing comprehensive support to patients, families, and friends. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy care environment while adhering to infection‑control policies, medication protocols, and legal regulations. Responsibilities Review physician prescriptions and coordinate patient care with the healthcare team. Develop nursing care plans based on medical histories, physical examinations, and psychosocial assessments. Teach patients, families, and friends about health conditions, medications, and self‑care skills. Evaluate patient progress, measure health outcomes, and modify care plans as needed. Maintain accurate documentation in patient and department records. Operate and maintain patient care equipment and supplies, troubleshooting breakdowns and managing inventory. Stay competent in nursing skills as outlined by leadership. Essential Qualifications Ability to work specified hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Visual acuity adequate for job duties and effective communication skills. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, active upon hire.
