Ready to take the next step in your tax career? We're partnering with a well-established Oklahoma City employer to identify a Senior Sales Tax Accountant to join their corporate Tax Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with sales and use tax experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple jurisdictions.
What You'll Do

Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns

Assist with unclaimed property reporting and compliance

Manage and support multi-state sales and use tax audits

Communicate directly with state and local taxing authorities

Prepare and assist with various business tax filings

Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

1-3 years of sales and use tax compliance experience, preferably in a multi-state environment

Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements

Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
