Key Responsibilities Supervise daily service in the hotel’s restaurant and banquet/event spaces. Ensure all service standards, timelines, and presentation expectations are consistently met. Oversee room setup, breakdown, and event execution according to BEOs. Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address concerns or service recovery needs. Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards and service expectations. Lead, coach, and support servers, bartenders, banquet staff, and support team members. Serve as the first point of contact for staff questions and operational decisions during service. Reinforce policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards. Assist with training new hires and ongoing staff development. Communicate effectively with culinary, bar, sales, and management teams. Ensure accurate execution of menus, special requests, and dietary restrictions. Relay guest feedback and operational concerns to management. Assist with timekeeping and shift documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Support inventory control, equipment care, and supply management. Enforce company policies and local labor laws. Working with the Food and Beverage Manager Act as the Manager’s right hand, implementing policies and ensuring team training. Keep eyes open to maintain cleanliness, readiness, and staff preparedness. Communicate effectively across staff levels, ensuring timely information flow. Provide hands‑on support—serving, hosting, delivering, scheduling, training, interviewing. Maintain safety and security, safeguarding guests, staff, and property. Job Requirements Prior food & beverage experience strongly preferred; supervisory experience a plus; fluency in English required. Minimum five years of progressive experience in food & beverage at a resort or hotel. Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally in English. Proficient with computer and various software programs; certified alcohol training required. Physical capabilities: work long hours, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently; bend, stretch, twist, reach; stand for long periods; work under variable temperatures and noise levels; near vision required.
