Rotating Days shift

Hours:

8am-4:30pm / 8:30am-5pm / 9:30am-6pm

Occasional Saturdays The Specialty Pharmacy Tech performs care delivery and dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner. Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care

Triages and escalates any questions or issues outside the pharmacy technician's scope of practice as needed

Uses appropriate systems for processing patient information

Ensures quality assurance is maintained according to departmental and legal requirements

Operates pharmacy equipment appropriately

A pharmacy technician license is required in the state of practice

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

Virginia Pharmacy Tech License (Required)

CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB) (Preferred)

Previous Pharmacy Experience (Preferred)
