Job Description:
If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a setting in Rio Rancho, NM this position might be what you are looking for! Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- NM licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Pay: $2,380.08 - $2,453.69 / week
- Location: Rio Rancho, NM
- Assignment Length: 13
- Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week
