Extensions may be available. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and department protocols. Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures. Administer IV contrast when appropriate while monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards. Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation in the electronic medical record. Maintain CT equipment and report equipment issues promptly. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Follow all infection prevention, quality assurance, and patient safety guidelines. Requirements ARRT (R) Certification. ARRT (CT) Certification. Current BLS Certification. Minimum 2 years of CT experience. Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners. Experience in a 500+ bed hospital strongly preferred. Epic documentation experience preferred. First-time travelers welcome with at least 2 years of experience.
