Budget Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to join a fast-paced Budget Management team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated analytical thinker with a passion for building relationships across cross-functional teams. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in evolving environments where priorities, processes, and business needs are continuously changing.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Budget Management
  
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts including accruals, forecasting, fiscal planning, and P&L management
  
• Superior analytical skills with the ability to identify key insights and provide recommendations from large, complex datasets
  
• Experience auditing and reconciling large datasets in Excel across multiple data sources
  
• Proven ability to partner and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems independently within a matrixed organization
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across varying stakeholder levels
  
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and understand how data integrates across systems
  
• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision and drives results proactively
  
• Advanced Excel skills required
  
• Flexibility to support meetings with global partners across APAC and EMEA time zones
  
• Experience supporting business, creative, and/or marketing organizations preferred
  

• Manage budgets and maintain strong partnerships across multiple teams and stakeholders
  
• Lead meetings with key cross-functional partners
  
• Forecast, track, manage, and report budgets and actual spend across multiple lines of business
  
• Analyze financial data and quarterly P&L actuals to identify variances, spending trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
  
• Audit and reconcile large datasets while identifying and resolving discrepancies
  
• Coordinate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues related to budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and spend tracking
  
• Implement and improve processes that support multiple teams with varying priorities
  
• Document workflows and provide training to internal and partner teams
  
• Independently drive projects, decisions, and deliverables with minimal oversight
  
• Reconcile invoices against forecasted spend and purchase order balances
  
• Support ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed
  

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  

• Hybrid role based in Culver City, CA
  
• 12-month contract
  
• Pay rate: $45.00 per hour
