Associate - Production FT - (Gateway) (33835)

Position Summary The Production Associate is responsible for loading and unloading donated goods using a hand truck, sorting textiles at a sufficient pace, distributing donated goods for processing or shipping, performing basic record‑keeping functions, and other basic retail operations duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting donors and customers at the donation station, issuing donor receipts in a friendly manner. Handle and sort donated goods into appropriate containers. Load, unload, and move donated goods, including furniture, using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks, or shelves to maintain workflow of the production cycle. Supply team members with materials, boxes, barrels, containers, etc., by walking stations to identify and restock supplies. Sort and price donated items, garments, and hard lines with limited supervision; monitor and record production levels. Tag, rotate, and place products on shelves per guidelines. Keep aisles free from debris, remove obstructions from production and sales floors, and maintain clean and organized work areas. Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control compliance procedures. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Assist in safeguarding team members and property from harm, damage, or theft; report any observed or suspected theft, fraud, violence, or unethical behavior to a supervisor or the Ethics Hotline. Requirements Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a retail, customer‑service oriented environment. Ability to bend, lift, grasp, and move continuously throughout the day. Capability to perform two‑person lifting of some heavy objects. Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team. Must meet the physical requirements of the position. For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive during company business.
