Pharmacy Manager - Hollidaysburg, PA

A well-established retail pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead their team and oversee daily operations at their Altoona, PA location. This full-time, direct hire role offers a variable schedule with day and afternoon shifts totaling 36 hours per week, and is available for immediate start.


In this pivotal leadership position, you will maintain strong collaboration with store operations, engage pharmacy associates, and communicate company strategy clearly. Your responsibilities include ensuring prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance. You will drive business growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), managing inventory to meet customer demand, and aligning department performance with key operational metrics.


This role involves supervising pharmacists and support staff, directing training and coaching, and managing associate performance while ensuring the security and orderliness of the pharmacy department. You will also handle customer concerns to build trust, interact with physicians to resolve prescription issues, and prioritize tasks like cycle counts and will-calls to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.


Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and clinical programs
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
