Associate Mapping Specialist: Winter 2026 & Spring 2027 Biomedical Engineering Undergraduates

Medtronic seeks biomedical engineering undergraduates graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 for a field-based Associate Mapping Specialist role supporting cardiac electrophysiology procedures. This training pathway involves clinical support, technical expertise in mapping systems, and direct collaboration with healthcare providers across a designated U.S. territory.

Responsibilities

  • Complete structured training program in cardiac electrophysiology clinical and technical procedures
  • Support physicians and clinical staff during cardiac mapping and ablation procedures
  • Provide technical and educational support for Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio
  • Partner with specialists and sales teams on customer training and technology adoption
  • Travel regularly throughout assigned territory to multiple customer accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field, graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory and observe live medical procedures
  • Prior experience in healthcare, clinical, research, or customer service environments preferred
  • Leadership or presentation experience through work, academics, or student activities preferred
