Clinical Nurse Manager - RN Required

Job Overview The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is responsible for coordinating clinical activities at the Wound Care Center, working in collaboration with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet program objectives and ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role encompasses patient care assessment, planning, implementation, and quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Proficient in all responsibilities related to case management. Provide case management to a group of patients, including assessments, procedural skills, treatments, and education related to wound care management. Organize and prioritize clinical responsibilities; provide clinical oversight to staff such as RNs, LPNs, LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians. Collaborate with health‑care providers, hospital personnel, the Wound Care Center team, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinical and patient needs. Continuously evaluate current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes while complying with HIPAA, DOH, and hospital/Healogics requirements. Engage in staff development, offering general and individualized training and orientation. Recognize staff through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback. Coordinate program objectives with the Program Director from a budgetary and financial perspective. If the program includes Vein Care services, coordinate the vein clinic and assist with post‑training care. Collaborate with Program Director and Medical Director to achieve Wound Care Center quality indicators. Act as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) per Healogics and hospital policies. Perform hyperbaric safety director duties after completing required training. Operate as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator following hyperbaric training. Provide patient care based on staffing needs. Perform additional duties as required. Education, Experience & Credentials Current RN (Registered Nurse) license – to be maintained during employment. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) – minimum requirement. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred. One year of RN experience required; two or more years preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Wound care certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Planning, organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation abilities. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate in layman’s terms at all levels. Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong customer service and follow‑up skills. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Leadership and team‑building skills. Research and teaching skills. Change management and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of hospital database systems and web‑based databases. Physical Demands Stationary position for extended periods (4+ hours). Viewing computer screen for 4+ hours. Frequent keying on a computer for 4+ hours. Movement and vision requirements: close, distance, and peripheral vision, reading, communicating, writing. Lifting/moving items up to 20 pounds. Lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance. Pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping/touching with hands. Traveling distances (car, airplane, etc.). Work Environment Normal office environment, primarily indoors. Patient care environment. Exposure to hazards: blood‑borne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable gases, etc. Mechanical equipment exposure. Proximity to moving objects. Compensation The salary for this position generally ranges between $83,000.00 and $111,900.00 annually, based on education, experience, geography, and operational needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
