Conviva is a subsidiary of Humana, seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and cheerful - Medical Receptionist- who is interested in growing with the company and being a part of something great!

The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

You will report onsite to the Clinic Administrator at the Conviva Care Center located at 802 Enterprise Boulevard, Suite 820, Rockport, TX 78382

Required Qualifications

• You will have a high School Diploma or GED
• You will have 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.
• You will have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:

• You will have Value-based care model experience
• You will have knowledge of Medical Terminology
• You will have experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
• You will be Bilingual in English and Spanish

Additional Information:

• This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
