Dental AssistantWe are looking to hire a Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This position would support our three Southwest Missouri offices in Springfield, Nixa, and Republic. Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.At Expedition Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, our dual specialty integrated care model positions us as a leader in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. With three locations across Southwest Missouri, we prioritize creating a welcoming and comforting atmosphere, featuring vibrant decor, interactive play areas, and staff trained in child psychology to alleviate dental anxieties.Who We Are Looking For:A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients care.Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player.Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients.Responsibilities:Present the patient to the doctor.Clean the patient’s teeth.Fluoride applicationTake, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).Provide hygiene and diet education.Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or surgery centerTake impressions.Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.Conduct consultations with parents discussing extensive treatment needs.Clean and sterilize instruments.Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.Providing the highest level of care for multiple patients at the same time.We offer a fun and fast-paced work environment with flexible work hours, competitive salaries, and excellent benefits packages.
