Backed by a nationally recognized ENR-ranked firm, you'll leverage Psomas' multidisciplinary capabilities and established client relationships to expand our environmental footprint across Southern California.This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven environmental consulting leader who thrives on business development, strategic client partnerships, and delivering complex environmental solutions.Why PsomasShared Success: An ownership culture that rewards long-term thinking and doing what's right.Retirement Benefits: Company-funded ESOP + 401(k) with immediate match.Hybrid Flexibility: 3/2 hybrid schedule.Career Growth: Lead a growing regional practice with opportunities to influence strategy and mentor future leaders.People-First Culture: Collaborative teams supported by statewide environmental expertise.Meaningful Work: Deliver projects that shape communities and improve California's built and natural environments.What You'll DoAs our Environmental Lead, you'll drive business growth while providing strategic leadership for environmental projects throughout the Greater Los Angeles Region.Practice Growth: Expand Environmental Services across the Greater Los Angeles Region through strategic business development and client engagement.Client Leadership: Build and strengthen relationships with agencies, municipalities, utilities, and private-sector clients.Project Leadership: Serve as Senior Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge, overseeing project delivery, technical quality, budgets, and schedules.Business Development: Lead pursuits, proposals, presentations, interviews, and contract negotiations while partnering with technical experts across multiple environmental disciplines.Technical Oversight: Guide multidisciplinary teams delivering CEQA/NEPA compliance, permitting, biological resources, cultural resources, air quality, noise, and related environmental services.Industry Presence: Represent Psomas through professional organizations, conferences, and community engagement.Required QualificationsBachelor 's degree in environmental science, land development, planning/policy, wildlife biology, or a related discipline.15+ years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated technical leadership.Proven success, growing client relationships and winning new business.Experience serving as Senior Project Manager, Principal-in-Charge, or similar leadership role.Strong understanding of CEQA/NEPA and California environmental permitting.Established network within the Greater Los Angeles Region public sector market is highly desirable.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $140,000–$200,000 (commensurate with experience).
