When you join MCC, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. We are seeking a Shift Supervisors for the Finishing Department , hiring for 1st shift and 3rd shift . This role is responsible for managing day-to-day finishing operations while driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. Why Work at MCC
- Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 annually

- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Finishing departments
- Serve as a highly skilled, hands-on operations champion focused on safety, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction
- Improve efficiency of manpower and materials while maintaining safety as the top priority
- Monitor operational performance through company reports and key metrics
- Lead shift meetings, determine performance standards, and drive accountability to achieve company goals and objectives
- Assist in evaluating current and proposed systems, procedures, and workflows
- Recommend changes when necessary and assist in the implementation of new processes
- Play a significant role in short- and long-term planning initiatives focused on operational excellence
- Develop and maintain capacity planning strategies to ensure schedule attainment
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues with contingency planning
- Perform all employee management functions in accordance with company policies
- Foster and maintain a favorable, harmonious working relationship with employees
- Train, coach, and mentor associates, supervisors, and other direct reports
- Ensure subordinates support applicable initiatives for their teams in alignment with management policies
- Support cross-functional collaboration across departments
- Maintain industry, professional, and technical knowledge through networking, industry events, and professional publications
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of High School degree, with some college education preferred
- Requires 5 plus years of progressively responsible experience, including scheduling and real time operations management
- Strong experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Fulfillment
- Must have Lean Manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated Change Management leadership skills
- Excellent strategic thinking skills
- Solid ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organization skills
- Exceptional problem resolution and analysis skills
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and quality
- Prior experience with cross-functional teams
- Minimal travel as necessary
