Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Bench Scientist / Automation Scientist to support molecular biology research and high-throughput laboratory workflows in a fast-paced wet-lab environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with laboratory automation, automated liquid handling, molecular biology, and high-throughput sample processing . Experience with Hamilton liquid handling platforms is highly preferred .

This role will focus on executing and optimizing automated laboratory workflows, processing large volumes of samples, supporting molecular biology assays, and troubleshooting laboratory automation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support automated liquid handling platforms, preferably Hamilton systems.
• Execute high-throughput laboratory workflows and process large volumes of samples.
• Develop, implement, and optimize laboratory methods and automated workflows.
• Perform DNA and RNA extraction and molecular biology sample preparation.
• Prepare samples for NGS/sequencing workflows.
• Perform PCR/RT-PCR assays and sample QC activities.
• Support genomic and transcriptomic characterization workflows.
• Troubleshoot laboratory automation and experimental processes.
• Follow laboratory SOPs and maintain accurate experimental documentation.
• Support validation and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to interpret experimental results and resolve workflow issues.
• Assist with scaling and improving laboratory automation processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline .
• 5–7 years of relevant laboratory/scientific experience .
• Hands-on experience with laboratory automation and automated liquid handling .
• Experience with high-throughput sample processing.
• Strong molecular biology laboratory experience.
• Experience with DNA/RNA extraction and PCR/RT-PCR .
• Experience with molecular biology sample preparation and sample QC.
• Experience supporting NGS/sequencing sample preparation or related genomics workflows .
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory workflows and follow established SOPs.
• Experience working in a wet-lab/BSL-2 environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Hamilton liquid handling systems .
• Automated assay development or workflow optimization experience.
• High-throughput screening experience.
• Genomics or transcriptomics experience.
• Cell culture experience, particularly CHO cells .
• Recombinant protein expression experience.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake, or scientific data analysis.
• Experience developing or automating laboratory workflows.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on molecular biology scientist with strong laboratory automation experience who can quickly contribute to high-throughput workflows. Candidates with Hamilton experience and a combination of DNA/RNA extraction, RT-PCR, NGS sample preparation, and workflow optimization experience are especially encouraged to apply. xhqgsiq

This is primarily a wet-lab and laboratory automation position, not a bioinformatics or software-focused role.
