Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Programs: Assess patient needs and formulate personalized therapy plans aimed at helping individuals reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work synergistically with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a thorough, patient-centered approach to care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapy techniques to promote ongoing progress and ensure continuity at home.
• Track and Review Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, documenting advancements and modifying treatments as necessary to keep patients on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
