As a Pipe Welder at Entech Sales & Service, you will use your skills to install, lay out, cut, grind,

assemble, and weld pipes for chilled water lines (mainly schedule 40 carbon steel). Every day

you will have the opportunity to learn, challenge yourself and to provide exceptional customer

Responsibilities

• Installation, fabrication, lay out, cut, grind, assemble, and weld pipes for chilled water lines (schedule 40 carbon steel).
• Quality Control: Perform pressure testing, leak checks, and visual inspections.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
• Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times, including safe driving.

Qualifications of Candidates:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of SMAW pipe welding on Schedule 40 steel pipe (2G, 5G 6G)
• Brazing Soldering copper or willingness to learn
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of relevant metallurgy and geometry
• Lift/exert force of 60/75lbs or greater at times
• The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to rigging, pipe installation, and repair.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
