Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Emergency Room (ER) care. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position requires floating to multiple locations within the region as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Room setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as required.
• Document patient information accurately using Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NIH are required.
• Ability to float between various locations as necessary.
• Must be willing to work weekends, every other.
• Must be within a 50-mile radius of the service area, as local candidates are not accepted.

Additional Information

• Ratios: 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio.
• Guaranteed hours based on contracted shifts with a call-off policy that allows for 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.
• Return Staff Policy: Candidates must be away for at least one year to return as a traveler.
• Limit of 2 contracts with the option to extend once; a 6-month absence is required to return thereafter.
• RTO restrictions will be determined at the manager's discretion.
