Details Work in the Pediatric ICU of a hospital setting Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) CVICU and NICU experience preferred Level 1 trauma center experience required Requirements Active RN License (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact/eNLC) Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Current PALS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association Additional Information Provide nursing care to a variety of pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products as prescribed Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying Compliance documents and onboarding requirements must be completed promptly, as start dates will not be pushed American Traveler Job ID P-748896.
