Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has immediate openings for Mental Health Professionals (MHPs) to join our team.

Up to $24.00 per hour!

If you have experience as a Mental Health Counselor, Case Manager, or Behavioral Health Case Manager, we want to talk to you!

*$24 per hour is a 'No Benefits' rate. Actual rate will depend upon which benefit plan is selected.

Mental Health Professionals (MHPs) work in conjunction with the program director, offering psycho-social support to our consumers.

Responsibilities of the mental health professional (MHP):

Collaborate with clinical team to create treatment plans
Implement therapeutic plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
Recognize, note and inform team when a consumer is not at baseline
Lead groups and hold one-on-one sessions
Crisis management and intervention
Carry a caseload of 30+ individuals
Complete all necessary documentation

Requirements of the mental health professional (MHP):

B.A. in psychology or human services
Certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC) certification a plus
Two (2) years of prior experience with and/or exposure to individuals with psychiatric disorders
Long-term care facility experience preferred
Organizational and time management skills
Analytical, assessment and active listening skills
Must have compassion for and a strong desire to help adults with mental disorders
