Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to patients in an integrated rehabilitation facility, with a focus on improving functional abilities and enhancing quality of life. The Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care and facilitate discharge planning through evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve patients' adaptability and functional skills.
• Participate in team conferences and provide family training for ongoing care.
• Utilize adaptive devices and equipment to support patient progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapy license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Weekend flexibility and willingness to work on the IRF unit preferred.
• Hospital or IRF experience, particularly with stroke or neuro patients, highly preferred.
