PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU RN to join a dynamic post-anesthesia care team. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in monitoring patients recovering from surgery and ensuring safe, smooth transitions post-procedure.

Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from $34-$48/hour (based on experience) + shift differentials and potential overtime

What You'll Do:
• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
• Perform post-operative assessments and manage pain control
• Respond to airway, cardiac, and respiratory changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations

What You Need:
• Active RN license (Louisiana or compact state)
• 1+ year of PACU, ICU, or ER experience
• BLS & ACLS required (PALS preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and monitoring skills
