Role Description The Mortgage Loan Officer is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Alpharetta, GA. This position is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding borrowers through the application process, and explaining loan options that best match their financial goals. Day‑to‑day activities include prospecting and managing leads, conducting borrower consultations, collecting and reviewing documentation, and coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to move loans efficiently through the pipeline. The Mortgage Loan Officer will maintain strong relationships with real estate agents and other referral partners, ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, and provide consistent, high‑quality customer service from initial contact through closing. Qualifications Experience in Loan Officer roles with a proven track record of originating and closing residential mortgage loans. Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices, including current regulations and loan products. Familiarity with Underwriting standards and documentation requirements to help structure and submit complete loan files. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and support borrowers throughout the loan process. Excellent sales, networking, and relationship‑building skills with real estate professionals and other referral sources. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment, managing multiple files and deadlines with attention to detail. Proficiency with loan origination systems and basic office software; comfort working with digital lending platforms. Valid Mortgage Loan Originator license (NMLS) in good standing and any required state‑specific licensing.
