Art TherapistCoastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 145-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50-bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. Our hospitals are conveniently located in beautiful, historic Savannah, GA in a quiet setting that provides unparalleled anonymity and privacy, enabling patients to concentrate on treatment.The Art Therapist will work with patients with a range of physical abilities, mental illness diagnosis, and substance abuse issues. The Art Therapist will assist patients in expressing his/her emotions through artwork (painting, sketch, illustration, and/or drawing). The Art Therapist will help patients analyze their artwork and develop solutions to any issues or problems they may be experiencing to aid in their personal recovery. In addition, the Art Therapist will help patients learn coping skills so that they can effectively deal with stressful, challenging, and/or traumatic experiences.
