Lead Automation Tester

Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Automation Tester to join our team in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web application testing. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber (BDD) for web application testing. Collaborate with development and product teams to create automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing. Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards. Utilize Java and JavaScript to build automation test frameworks and scripts. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Improve the test suite by implementing best practices and optimizing test performance. Ensure proper integration of the test automation suite with the CI/CD pipeline. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards. Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in test automation. Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Proven experience in test automation with Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber. Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python. Experience with XPath (XML Path Language). Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation. Solid understanding of testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices. Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Familiarity with additional test automation tools and frameworks. Mentorship and team development skills. Work Environment Location: Maryland Heights, Missouri (Onsite). Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: Approximately $88,000 to $105,000.
